High-frequency PEMF therapy is based on the emission of radio waves of frequencies between 18 MHz and 900 MHz in short pulses, whose frequency is adjustable.
The magnetic field generated at high frequency is characterised by very low intensities which are usually measured in mW.
The electromagnetic field is generated by a radiant circuit contained inside a special ergonomic applicator, easily adaptable to the part of the body to be treated.
The electromagnetic fields are able to promote the physiological recovery of the weakened body due to a disease or trauma.
In this case we also speak of pulsed electromagnetic field therapy (PEMFT).
Clinical studies carried out demonstrate the effectiveness of high-frequency PEMF therapy for all soft tissue conditions, with significant results also in the treatment of bone conditions.
It can also be used for delayed union, but requires more treatments than low-frequency PEMF therapy.
The main conditions treated are:
- Sprains
- Tendinitis
- Muscle pain
- Lumbago
- Sciatica
- Myalgia
- Arthritis-arthrosis
- Joint pain
